CHRISTMAS AT HCT

The holidays are just around the corner, and HCT has been buzzing with activity again to bring you an HCT first: an online Christmas production, similar to those you may have watched on TV during holidays past.
The idea for a Christmas show came out of a strong desire to have a production over the holidays at HCT. With the pandemic, the abrupt stop of any live theatre halted all of our plans, so something new had to be done. We decided we could film a show, then edit and produce an enjoyable production that would be shared not only with our patrons, but also a YouTube audience. So, for the last seven weeks, we have done just that. Some of HCT's past performers have returned to the Kollock stage to sing and recite your Christmas favorites! The performances were filmed, and our Christmas gift to you is an online Christmas variety show called Christmas at HCT.
We have learned that filming a show is a whole new experience. Live theatre is so different from filming a show, and we had a list of new challenges to overcome, but it has been so worth it. Now, sit back, relax, and enjoy a good old-fashioned Christmas special, compliments of HCT.
