TWO MORE SHOWS ADDED!

TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
DIRECTED BY ADAM WILEY

In a sleepy Alabama town in the midst of the Great Depression, Scout and her brother, Jem, live with their widowed father, Atticus Finch. Reminiscent of a bygone era, the children play outside in the summer, act out stories, and muse about their mysterious neighbor, Boo Radley. The facade of the seemingly peaceful town begins to crack when a young black man is accused of a terrible crime. Driven by an unshakeable moral conviction, local lawyer Atticus defends the man in a trial that sends violent waves through the community. Timeless and lingering, this hard-hitting work explores prejudice, compassion, and the courage to do what is right.

Content Advisory: PG-13 – Contains Sensitive and Racially Charged Material

This production includes language and themes reflective of the racism and social attitudes prevalent in the American South during the 1930s. Specifically, the use of the N-word in To Kill a Mockingbird is historically and contextually accurate, intended to highlight the injustice, prejudice, and dehumanization faced by Black individuals during that era. While the language is offensive and disturbing, its inclusion serves a deliberate purpose: to provoke critical reflection and foster meaningful dialogue about systemic racism and inequality.

Parental discretion is strongly advised. This production is not recommended for children under the age of 13.
